Giving Our Sugarcane the Best Start
Uncovering Sweetness – Our Peeling Process
Our industrial level machinery for sugar cane processing is top of the line, using specific technology to provide efficient and effective peeling and cutting capabilities solely for sugar cane. Our machines are designed and built to the highest standards, using only the best materials available.
Cut and Disinfection
At our facility, the blades of our cut machines are made of food-grade steel, which allows us to guarantee the safety of our products. Similarly, in the disinfection process, fifth generation quaternary ammonium is used, especially used in food treatment. This
product makes it possible for our cane juice to be completely safe due to the hygiene measures applied throughout the production process.
Freezing Tunnel
After cut and disinfected, the product is subjected to quick freezing by compressed air or by impact or blast freezing by convection. Cold air is circulated at high speed over the product. The air extracts heat from the product. This air with a higher temperature passes through a heat exchanger, where a refrigerant fluid removes its heat and recirculates cold again. The objective is to submit the peeled cane that enters the systen1 cold to a temperature of approximately -25°C to bring each unit to -l8°C in about 4 to 5hours. Thus, we maintain the organoleptic and micro biologicaI stabiIity of the peeled sugarcane. Pallets with product units for quick freezing are located within the system.
